WOW!!
We've just returned from the Baltimore / DC area where we performed @ The World Famous Lexington Market, Decoy Lounge in Clinton, Proud Mary's In Ft. Washington and The Latin Palace in Baltimore. Every Show was Tons of Fun and the Energy of Each Audience was Incredible. We don't call "B-More" Our Second Home for Nothing! We were invited down by Super Duper Promoters, Robert Smoot of Brencore Entertainment, Roger Harris of Charm City Jazz and Darlene Hudson of The Lexington Market where we are ALWAYS Blessed by The People. This time around they literally rained money down on us! It was the most humbling experiece we've ever encountered! We were also truly blessed by the outstanding mixing of Tony 'Cisco' Smith of Cisco T Productions whose engineering skills kept us on the ONE - So Much So That we are going to make these performances available for sale by Christmas.
Here Are Just A Few Pics while we are awaiting More to Come In - If You happened to be at one of the shows, DO Send Your Pics In!!
On July 9th, we were very blessed to Headline The Very First Youngstown Jazz Fest 2011 where we inaugurated the Beautiful Harrison Common @ YSU. We were joined by our Friends, the incredible Phillip K Jones II of Cleveland who kicked things off before handing the stage over to the Beautiful & Outstanding Antoinette, who serenaded the audience with some favorites and her own dynamic originals. YSU Alumni Trombonist Sam Blakeslee presented some daredevil bop and amazing feats with his smokin band then Pittsburgh's Latin Tinged Chico's Quintet burned up the remaining parts of the stage Sam left behind. All we were left with was the complex challenge of following all that jazz by turning the whole evening into One Big Party, which we were more than happy to do! By The Way, we're already planning for 2012. Keep Visiting YoungstownJazzFest.com for More Info! Special Thanks to Our Friend Kim N Hines of Onenessound for Mixing Front of House, Hubbard Music for The Sound System & Backline and Show Tyme Rentals for the Tents & Risers. Our Love to VOCAL for Feeding The Hungry Artists and Mission Outfitters for All The Water. So Much Gratitude to Our Wonderful Volunteers for Putting in Their Time to Keep The Boat Afloat! Our Heartfelt Thanks to Phil Moore from The Mahoning County Visitors & Convention Bureau Lyndsey Hughes, Special Events Coordinator for The City of Youngstown Lori Factor, YSU Summer Festival of The Arts For Which Without Their United Determination & Tireless Participation and Resources there would be No Jazz Fest....
