parents of two active preschoolers, Seth and Faith. Mary's background
includes a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.B.A. from the University
of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Mary successfully completed the Associate Recording
Engineer program at the Recording Institute of Detroit. Mary also works
as an independent quality consultant and teaches the preschoolers' Sunday
school class at Tree of Life Bible Fellowship Church in Southfield, MI. |

A networking relationship that began two years
ago was rekindled with vigor at the 2004 East Coast Soul Patrol Convention.

We missed the opp to hang out with Rio Soul
when we were in LA but mere hours as they were hiting the road themselves.
Bob Davis was trying to make it happen but our schedules were always conflicting
as this band is always VERY BUSY! But when something is supposed to
happen then Time, Space, Schedules and Economic Circumstances have to
bow down to the hook up.
We finally were able to lock it down at Soul Patrol
2004 and are looking forward to maintaining a healthy vibe of creativity
on both coasts. Rio Soul is a band working to fill the void that straight
ahead funk bands from the 70's & 80's abandoned when commercialism
begin to choke down and kill off all bastions of pure music in favor of
the One Man Artist, Hip Hop & DJ Superstardom. While these mediums
may have their place, one listen to Rio and the guys make you know how
much we've lost when bands remain silent. |

music beside Purity, Impact and Positivity are Focus, Heart, Originality,
Raw Talent, Energy, Passion and downright Soul.

of Jere B needing a place to stay while down in New Jersey for the Soul
Patrol Weekend. "Uncle" Joe graciously opened his home, heart

guitar, proving why he is one of the leading master jazz virtuosos.

This is a relationship of another caliber that

and we were literally weaned on their grooves and we hit it off so veryt
well and shared hours of conversations that a collaboration seems inevitable.
